Cloning and longevity

What happens when cloning becomes routine? The US doesn't allow felons to vote - will they be allowed to be cloned? Will society allow rapists, pedophiles or killers to clone themselves once they've paid their debt to society? How will we look at the potentially evil clone? One day we'll be able to clone someone with but a scratch of DNA. Will George Washington and Einstein be reborn? Lenin? Lennon? If cloning is illegal and you are a clone, what is your legal status - clone bastard? What happens when someone clones a celebrity without their permission?

The coming bio-tech revolution will make the tech revolution look like a plumbing job. When life expectancy doubles, what happens to Supreme Court justices with lifetime appointments? Will we ask them to retire at 100? What's the retirement age for a man expected to life to 300? How will third world nations react to westerners living 5 times as long as they do? What does this do to promiscuity? Will we pass longevity onto our pets?
