Bob Dylan's second greatest contribution to music

On August 28, 1964, a major historical event took place in a Manhattan hotel. Bob Dylan met The Beatles at the Hotel Delmonico. When Bob offered to roll a joint, The Beatles told him they'd never toked before. Dylan thought The Beatles sang I get high and not I can't hide in the song I Want To Hold Your Hand. According to the book Revolution In The Head, by Ian Macdonald, Dylan was amused to be the man who turned The Beatles on. Paul McCartney declared that he was really thinking for the first time.
